Delving into the Storied Past of Israel’s Elite Counter-Terrorism Force
Yamam is known to be the most active unit in Israel, conducting on average 3 highly dangerous missions a week. All the operators have finished their mandatory service in the IDF as commanders or officers of elite units.

The founder of International Friends of Yamam was fortunate enough to serve in the unit for 2 years as her mandatory military service.
Witnessing the exceptional bravery of these men as they charged headfirst into danger to prevent numerous planned terror attacks left her inspired and awe-struck.
Yamam stands out as an extraordinary force, our silent protectors.
