Yamam Rescues 4 Hostages In Daring Daylight Mission

Israeli Defense Forces, lead by Yamam – Israel’s anti terror unit, executed a highly daring and complex operation amid the ongoing war against Hamas.

The mission successfully rescued four hostages from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip. Conducted in broad daylight in a previously unoperated area.

The operation was originally codenamed “Seeds of Summer” and later renamed “Operation Arnon” in honor of Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora, a Yamam officer who was critically wounded during the mission and subsequently died of his injuries.

The rescued hostages are Noa Argamani (26), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (41).

Arnon was an incredible person and officer, he was 36, a father to 2 boys and a loving husband. He was a real life superhero who died saving others.
